DUDE! I think I might have just had a sick idea! I know there's AT LEAST 4 guys on here who want/have been talking about building some sliders. What would you think about getting and few of us together. Someone brings a welder, someone else brings a chopsaw, grinder, etc. Everyone goes in on some square stock and paint and we make a day of it!!

Ordered them today. Yeah, fabbin your own makes more sense but the ones I'm gettin I think are the best lookin ones I've seen and there supposed to be tough as nails. Got a one inch drop crossmember coming with em too.

Rough numbers for the sliders; all square tubeing
2"x2" .125 wall - 6' per side 12' total (main rails)
1.5"x1.5" .125 wall - 3' perside 6' total (legs to frame)
1"x1" - 4' per side 8' total (pinch seem brace)
3"x3" or 3"x4" - 2' per side 4' total (mounting plate to the frame)
and see what the cost is.

You guys should check out the design on Rustys sliders as far as the pinch weld mounting. They actually sandwich the pinch weld instead of just bolting to it. Looks like a good design.
