haha hey guys i found my leak lets just say due to the ex owners im going to check every bolt on the xj!

 

awesome ryan i might take you up on that offer haha so get this i went and got some high temp engine paint for my valve cover and the gasket and well i got home and went to take the vc off and not one bolt was tight, i had three missing on the manifold side and some were half way out!

 

Lmao don't tell me ur drain plug was loose!

My VC was the same way the first time I changed it. Un did every bolt with my fingers. The gaskets get hard and shrink, then the valve cover is left floating on top with loose bolts. Nice find!

Just got done fixing Mike's brackets on his long arm (if you want to call it that) setup. Kiddin man.

 

So what's the trail list for moab in that beast?

 

ha ya the entire back of the block is SOAKED in oil, and the gasket is so britel i touched it and it broke in 3 places lol
