No offense mike I'm sure your cabin is nice but because of those cabins some cool rds got closed. So its ****ty what's happening but I can't be sad cause I know what that mountain was like before them, been pissed ever since they showed up.

Hope for the best but prepare for the worst Mike, pretty much all you can do. It would be a pity to see your family lose their awesome little getaway. I heard the guv called out the natl. gaurd to help so hopefully they get it under control.

On a side note, even if the area where the cabins are burns up, big fat insurance checks will be written, the land will recover and the cabins will be back. We all know, once a trail closes that your chances of pissing grape juice are better than the chances of reopening the trails.
So I was planning to head up AF Canyon tomorrow morning to do some offroading with my girls, I guess that plan's out the window. Any other places close by that I could go without burning it down? 5 Mile?

Oh I know Jeff, the ones with money screwing everything up for the rest of us ain't just gonna forget and move on. It's a ****ty deal all around and it sucks but I'm more sad to lose the trapped and miners cabins that have been there for yrs.
