i wish i was that good. it took me a couple days just to swap an axle that was already set up the same as the old one

 

My only hold up is I need wheels and tires to move axle around lol and that damn mail man. Knock on wood

 

Oh and setting up the gears never done them but YouTube has talked me threw it lol

 

i moved my dana 44 around by myself without wheels. haha that 9" probably only weighs double

 

i wanna go full width too but i think i'll buy a different xj or zj to do that with. or a toyota

 

The housing is no problem it's the third lol who set your gears up ?

 

a local shop. almost a whole paycheck to get them both geared

 

I called around and they said 300 for rear and going to take two weeks

 

this shop charged me 500 per axle, but it feels tight. and they did it the day after i asked them to do it

and i see at least one jeep there at any time. and they've regeared jeep diffs before

 

Gearing a 9" is about as hard as pissing in a urinal and missing. And when I was doing my axles, I had my 9" with 37's on it, and I could move it around pretty damn easy. Wish I could say the same for the front 44. Damn thing is a waste of weight, time, and money. Haha

So a my buddy wants to sell me his ford 9 and dana 44 for 300 is that good already geared to 456
