What do you guys think of this ?

I think it will kill two birds I need a drop bracket and it kinda is frame stiffener

got evacuated from fairview for the fire on the west side of town and now a bigger fire is burning to the east of us if you thinning about coming camping on the fairview mountains I wouldn't recommend it

Yeah it's crazy smoke come over that mountain in price

****ty, i got friends down there who have lost everything on their property already.

not to mention that colorado springs is burning down right now as i type this, got 3 friends who already lost their homes and 3 of the 3 no longer have a building to goto work in, and it's only getting worse. they can't even get in front of the fire its moving so fast!


oh and ya camel one is janine, she said she managed to save the XJ tho. i told her to move here it's not burning yet LOL

I dont think thats actually a drop bracket, I think the bracket is only designed to let you run the double shear set up instead of the stock ball joint set up. Most likely the same drop as stock. My Rugged Ridge I bought was just like that and although I do like the stiffener, the bracket kept the drivers side at the same level. That looks to be the same exact thing sold under a different name.

Yea double shear that's what I meant ;-) my new axle has this

Based on the pic It looks like that may work for you then. According to the page you posted up, they did say they recommended a drop pitman arm be used. All a matter of working out the geometry. Gotta get the track bar and drag link as close to parralel as possible. I'm dealing with this now, I'm close, but not ideal and still dealing with a little bumpsteer.

i think there's a fire up indian canyon or near strawberry pinnacles... so i heard anyway, and there's tons of smoke in vernal, the sun was red.

Yeah the drop pitman arm is on there already you can kinda see it in the pic. I like how its not just the bracket but it's a brace too. I got to get the axle in to start to figure out the angles

yeah, hopefully i'll have my brakes finished. and if i can borrow a trailer from someone. i tried bleeding my brakes and one wheel cylinder is clogged. so i got new parts for the rear brakes
