I would agree that from time to time it might be "part of the lake" (early, early spring if at all and during an extremely heavy snow season), but more than likely I bet that mudholes left over from the snow, I have a hard time believing that lakes ever up that high. If their saying he was doing any harm I'd say not. It was also pretty obvious that he was'nt the first truck through it! Just my .02!

Now I agree, it is difficult to tell if it was actually part of the lake.... what is the lake anyway ? Is it where the water line is ? is it where it is when maximum ? is it 50 y away from that ? or is it the whole mountain because these mountain lakes are fed by runsoff from all around ?
retrospectively I tend to agree with the no-no..... thinking about it, we definitely were not on a trail therefore against all thread lightly policies (but that was fun though).
Good to remember... stay on the trail

Welcome to the forum. I'm always down for a run but need to get some things fixed before I go again. Sundays run wiped out my trans mount and ultimately mangled my pass. motor mount, I also need to replace my exhaust manifold before inspection in Sept. so I don't know how soon I'll be ready for another run. Gotta love it!
I have a couple of issues to take care off.... no more marker ligts or blinkers , spring leaf clamp broke and pack fanned out.... major knock that got Mike worried

I am back to the manuals and online tutorials before I do anything else....

Or were we on a trail? I believed us to be. The trail led right onto the large dirt area by the lake which the mud puddle was smack dab in the middle of. We did'nt park or play on or even so much as disturb any vegetation. I'm feeling a little ignorant for not having thought more about these questions prior to the run, I have always thought of off trail meaning in the vegetation, some further education seems to be in order.

not in my plan right now, but browsing the Sam's club up here, they have a roof rack for less than $100. I looked at it, it does look solid.
I don;t remember what brand it was, and i can;t find it on sam's club online.
Just wanted to let you guys know if you were in the market.... $100 doesnot sound too pricey

Hi new here I live in tooele and just got a 89 Cherokee i6 4x4 with I think a 2" lift and 32x11.50 pro comp tires. I got it free from my uncle in Cali so it has no rust it's in great condition the only thing that's wrong is something in the tranny so I'm trying to find a tranny jack to use.
