have you thrown the D44 in yet?

 

it wouldn't look dumb, it'd look unique... and just carry two spares.. put one on the bumper and one on the roof

once i get the front geared to match it i will. it's just sittin outside next to my sliders, exhaust, radiator and everything else that needs to be put on

 

 

pretty soon i'm gonna upgrade to a fullsize spare haha, i kinda wanna see it with the 29 inch tire on. talk about some uneven tread wear

 

so here's a question, i'm thinking of building a rack for the ZJ i don't feel like welding and EMT is just lame to me. so what i'm thinking is how about PVC? i have many options of how it could be built and i got lots of rtv lying around so i think i could get it to work out.

I would build it out of wood, it has many uses. you can put lots of stuff on it, stain it almost any tone, even paint it like a fence. It would aid in floating river crossings, and If you get stranded you can use it as a raft or even fire wood!

but it wouldn't have the Sick custom PVC look...

 

if you want. depends on your use, driving habits and how capable you want to make it.
