its a must IMO, short and tall is not a good combo IMO.

If you want to wheel a wrangler by all means do it. its your money and your vehicle, it needs to make YOU happy. But I will always think of the movie clueless when you pull up lol

Going to look at a few lexus' today! Yay! at least I am keeping an I6. looking for somthing along the lines of this...

If its the stock cage its known for bending and collapsing offroad.. I would start over and make a good one, not one that just looks ok... and definitely don't buy the "cage add on kits" lots of pics of those collapsing worse then the factory cage...

true that, solid swap a toyota and your going to end up needing to plate about 60-80 % of the frame, and removing the IFS removed alot of the rigidity to the front end, and the back is "weak" for heavy offroad use... (but so are most frames) Toyota's and other framed vehicle has just as many "plate" kits as XJ's

The xj frame thing is more rigid, yes, but a pain in the *** if you want to do anything with it. I wanna box in the wrangler frame, seems easy and itd make a world of difference. I've been around a lotta wranglers lately and everything about them is just easier. Its a simplified cherokee. And I'm lazy. So its perfect haha
