Hey guys, I was curious as to what rear axle set-up's you all have. I'm currently working on swapping my D35 for an 8.25 with 27 spline shafts and was wondering how the hold up for anyone running em. Also anyone with any aftermarket axle parts is welcome to add any input. Thanks!

HAHA! Nice! So that makes life a little easier on me then. I was afraid I was gonna need stronger aftermarket shafts, but seeing all the extremes you but yours through, I think I am good! I am thinking about re-gearing to 4.10 though.

Nice, I have to re-gear as my 8.25 and D30 don't match, figured I might as well go with 4.10. I still am considering some superior alloys for it.

dont go alloy's until you go 29 spline. the reason being. wheel the 27 spline till it breaks then upgrade. 29 spline is stronger, a 29 spline alloy is more than strong enough!
