I hear there's supposed to be some pretty gnarly trails up in the Jemez. Something like fire roads that haven't been maintained since the 70's. There up on the left after the tunnels.
Maybe goose lake, up by Red River? I hear that's pretty nice, but you can't camp there, I don't think.

This morning. There was a huge group of pretty well built jeeps (15to20) stopped at a rest stop headed into SF. Guessing they were headed to jemez. Of course had to watch them go by as I sat in my office.
