the light is supposed to come through atleast where i live id get pulled over if it isnt even jsut a corner of my light theyre sticklers here about everything, got pulled over one time cause my lights were to bright strange cuase they were they factory lights, guess it was quotta time or something.... not to mention my lights are pretty much useless already if i did that id never see anything

For stuff like that I would clean clean clean, then degrease, then lightly sand or wirewheel it, then clean and degrease again, primer, paint, and clear coat (doesnt have to be high gloss). Thats what I did with my wheels and they turned out great with little to no chipping.
Also do light coats, less chance for chips. An since it is on the jeep while you paint it I would get some boxes cut them so they open out and use those to block what you dont want over spray on.

Seafoamed my jeep today. After I noticed a slight ticking sound coming from the head that I have never really heard before.
I did notice I have a exhaust leak coming from the donut ring gasket to the downpipe. I tried tightening flange thingy, but its still leaking. I'm hoping this is were the ticking is coming from.
