I am not technically in New Mexico, but I spend most of my money there. N.M. is, literally, across the street from me up here in Ft Defiance, AZ (north of Gallup). Tomorrow, my wife picks up her new, used car, as she said that she was tired of driving my "projects" around. For some reason, she didn't like the 73 Wagoneer I had picked out for her. At any rate, it's time to pull the engine on my 99 XJ, since it will no longer be our sole source of transportation and it is in need of an overhaul. However, I am new to the area and do not know of a good, reputable, machine shop. Also, I was looking online and saw that some company called S&J sells re-manufactured engines with a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty for $1600.00 + $150.00 shipping. Since I live so far out, am extremely busy, and have grown weary of having to make multiple excursions to town every time I twist a wrench, I am considering ordering one. Anybody have any experience with S & J? Any suggestions for an engine rebuilder in the region?
So, I dropped the fuel tank earlier--
I have a flattened vent line, and the 2 vent seals on the top look rough.. no wonder i was leaking gas...

anyone have any spare vents/seals/line?
Also need the trans cooler lines? As far as i know-- stock on a 92
