I just hope I have my jeep back by then. The transmission shop is a joke that I took it to and like to keep ot for a couple days. I had a humming in 3rd and 4th gear bad so they gotta balance something out inside.

 

For how many times you've had problems with that transmission why don't you buy a new one and do it yourself?

 

Have you seen the inside of a tranny. Esp a valve body. Super clean you need to be and sometimes can be a pain to line up sun gears with the disks.

 

Ditch the tranny you have and get a stick!!!

 

I have a 5 speed now. The shop just called and said its not the transmission even though its only under load in 3rd and 4th. So the transmission shop says its not them. The gear shop says its not them. The only other part that moves down there is the transfer case. But I don't see why that would hum when putting into 3rd. That's not gear specific. So what the heck am i supposed to do now.

 

I got called in today, so I won't be making Dion's. Gotta get the bills you know? especially if I'm going to be buying a welder soon.

Anyone know how to reduce the size of pictures? the ones we took are too big for CF

That's wack sounds like one shop ain't takin responsiblity for thier mess up
