gotcha. well i have about 4 1/2 in lift with 31's and a SYE and D35 and from yoke to yoke i was measuring 33 3/4 in. I pullled a front ds off a 98 xj at the jy for $20 and $130 to get it lengthened and balanced. so im in it for a total of $150. Which is cheaper than any shafts i found on line, now i just hope it holds up well...

 

Oh yeah that's way cheaper. I'm at 4" and goin to 7-7.5" eventually.

 

There is a place in denver that doesn't have to bad of pricing for the ds. I'll call my dad and find out the name of the place tomorrow

Just picked up and installed my ds from front range driveline. thanks for the recomendation. i have to say that i am pretty happy with the what i got. they were all real friendly, got the job done when they said and it actually came out cheaper than they quoted me(it was only $3 but i'll take it).

no prob man. awsome bunch of guys there. they have made me a few driveshafts, and all i have to say is good stuff. and its always been a few bucks less than they said.

 

So is anyone gonna actually hit any trails this weekend?

 

Not thinkin so, I'm halfway through my rig. No steering, no front header panel and rear brakes taken apart. Actually no front part of the jeep at all. Hopefully the weather will stay nice for me to work

 

In two weeks I should be ready to go. Going to the jy to pick up a couple of things I hope. And next week my locker should be in and going to install that

 

Why don't u just come with me on saturday?
