So this week I finally got an XJ owner to wave back at me! I was excited cuz I usually just get a stupid look... I waved at another one and got flipped off.... NICE!!! WTF is the world coming to when you own the same Jeep and you can wave back? Why is that SO HARD?!

I’ve been waving at XJ’s for years and about half the time, you just get a stare. Some people are very unsociable. It’s sad……

I used to get the wave in return but now I get a stare down and WTF is that face lol

guess you guys arent in the right area, half the time im not the 1st to wave, and just about everyone waves back when i do it. it might be how you wave. all i do is just lift my hand off the wheel enough to see and be noticed. they almost always do it back.

it is pretty sad when another xj doesnt wave back makes me think why do they drive such a fine vehicle when they dont even wave

I get more wranglers waving to me then XJs. Most of the XJs around me are high schoolers so I guess theyre just driving em to get more action, which the XJ will get you!

I LOVE my ZJ. Made the guy at the UPS store laugh cuz I kept going through a HUGE puddle in the parking lot. 50ft x 30 ft and 1.5 feet deep! BIG SINK HOLE!!!!

I think we should start an xj specific wave. Kinda like the motorcycle pointing, we need something our own. I've thought about doing a mountain bike "wave" before too, but never got that going either.

i love having an xj in high school. there are only 3 lifted xjs in my high school parking lot. all of which i wheel with regularly.

as for the wave, i just do the simple four wheeling wave. i steer with one hand most of the time, and when ever i pass someone four wheeling or pass another jeep on the road, i lift my hand off the wheel just enough to be recognized and put it back down when they wave back. works almost every time.

I either keep one arm out the window or drive with one hand, actually both instances as a matter of fact lol I always get a wave except on like wednesday I waved to a white cherokee at a stop light on tower and hampden and a confused last minute wave lol

I just received my first jeep wave today, but my passenger saw it. Lol I gave up on waving and when I did, I finally get one.
