Howdy! New guy from Phoenix
Hey y'all! I'm Tripp.
Originally from GA but I've lived in Phoenix for 10 years. Anyway, just got a new/old Cherokee. I used to own a TJ and loved it, but was never too sure about the XJ's. Finally missed the Jeep life so much I traded in my sports car for a beat-up old XJ affectionately referred to as "Darlin'", and I was pleasantly surprised. I way underestimated how much I would fall in love with a piece of machinery, much less an XJ, but it's safe to say I'm more fond of it than my TJ (which says a lot).
Anyway, sorry for being so long-winded! Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a newbie here but I've been working on various cars and Jeeps for a few years. I've had to patch a few things up on the old gal since I got her but things are running smoothly for now.
Here to learn, help, and wheel
Any other Phoenix locals???

Thanks for the warm welcome gentlemen!
Pelagius I'm in Alhambra area off 7th St and Camelback, but I'm over your way all the time. I always thought that white was a sharp color, nice XJ!
ORFCrawler definitely! I saw pics of your rig in the gallery, and I may have had a tinge of jealousy... haha it's super clean and actually got the gears turning in my head for some potential mods in the future. That welding job on your front axle is badass. Do you do all your own fabrication (I did notice your username is ORFCrawler, wasn't sure if you work for/are OR-Fab, were sponsored, etc.)?

Yeah I did all my own fab work in my yard I don't even have concrete lol but I do work at Orfab that's just why I used the name since I have all of our product on the jeep but that's all I've gotten from them. But you live close enough we could always meet up and wheel sometime then you can see it in person instead of just pictures
