Think long and hard about what it will take to safely run 37's on your heep. You might come to the realization that the added height isn't worth the expense.

Stronger axles (properly geared)
Improvements to the steering
Lift
Trimming
New shocks
etc, etc.

I'm not saying don't do it, I'm simply asking you to consider all the angles.

Buy them and sell them!

To much work to put them on your rig.

definitely understood, there is not a chance id be able to run 37s right now with my setup. The biggest i really wanna go is 35s and that is still needing stronger axles.

i think i might sell and get some 35s

what do you think about it frank. Start savin up and find a 60, and put a 44 up front. im scared to ask what else I'll need.

D60's are over-rated IMHO. 35 spline D60's are not cheap either.

My son (and many others) run 35's on stock axles. Granted he's got alloy shafts out back, but even stock shafts will last with a little common sense.

Throw a Ford 8.8 back there Jordy. Much cheaper, plentiful, 4:10 gearing, 30 spline shafts and Aussie locker is only $250.

I have heard alot of people do that. people say rolling 35s is fine on a 8.25 27 spline. what do you think is not good about 60s

Yes, 4:88's would be ideal. Just sayin if you got 4:10s you'd only have to regear the front. That's what I did. Not too bad, and I'm on 34s, but it's not my DD.

D60 does have a massive ring and pinion, but unless you find a stock axle with 35 splines it's only marginally stronger than an 8.8"

A big bearing Ford 9" is a damn good axle.

8.8 would work well, but it is narrower unless you grab a full width axle from a van instead of one from an Explorer.

A 27 spline 8.25 isn't a good choice due to the small shaft size and 27 splines. A 29 spline has 1 less spline than a D44 and is only 0.10" smaller.

Cool. I didn't know that!

There ya go Jordy. 8.8 out of a van. Or 8.25 out of a '97+ I think.

D60 or Ford 9 is just too hard to find and will be expensive..

8.8 should only run you about $100 plus parts and install. Around $250ish +/-.

Well all my friends cancelled on me for CMG, but I'm still driving out there by myself. Getting the jeep loaded up here in a bit, and I'll be out in the AM to meet the guys!

Bacon express, more like broken express. Seth broke his rear drive shaft, pitbull broke his steering, Chad in the wrangler on 39s took out his front axels, and I destroyed my rear drive shaft and have some gears poking out of my rear diff cover...
