Me too. Back to the urban jungle.
Went camping to China Wall. Perfect weather, I mean perfect. Had a great time, aside from a scary scenario, and God is beautiful

Sorry to hear your grandmother is not doing well Kyle. I remember you telling me you might have to go. Hoping for the best.
Well, we were packing up on Sun w/plans to hit up Twin Cone on the way home. My uncle and I went to shoot some rounds. My dog was near us, and when I popped off the first few she bolted to the camp. We shot for another 10 mins. I got back to the camp and asked my wife where Brandi was, she said she thought she was w/me. Well my dog was lost somewhere around China Wall. We all split up, but could not find her. I ran towards the rock slab and was about to turn back when some people told me they saw her running that way. I was all out of breath, but was yelling her name and whistling. FINALLY she ran up out of nowhere. She was all wet so I duno WTH she was but I was SO relieved I found her. Took forever to find her and so it was too late to hit twin cone, but I didn't care.
Everything else was great. The wheeling, camping, hiking. We all had a great time. I tried the right side of the wall, but there was a huge puddle in front and my tires kept slipping so I had to do the left line.

Glad you found her bro!! Did you guys hike up to Box Canyon?
As for my Granny, there really isn't a good scenario for her. She has cancer, and it's terminal. She is so strong that I can't really be too upset about it. It sucks, but I can't waste time feeling crummy about it, I just want to focus on enjoying as much time with as I possibly can. Thanks for the pleasant thoughts though guys!!

Sorry again kyle about your grandmother.
Went and ran DAKAN rd after the renaissance festival Saturday and put about 200 plus miles on my jeep on Saturday. Sunday went and ran red elephant up to bill Moore lake which was cool minus the difficulty not being there, and just a long bumpy ride.
XJBONES and I are for sure Running Eagle rock Saturday if anyone wants to meet up with us. we are meeting up at the McDonalds in castle rock off founders at 8 am. bring your A game.

We tried to get accross the river, but could not where we were camped. I think we were at the same spot as Asian Express, or one over. Can you drive through the river to the other side? Looks like you could from where we were camped.

We ended up making it to the canyon tho, because on 204, it took us near it, and we took the hike from there. Can't thank you enough for the directions Kyle. Everything was easy to navigate.
I had a great time on ER. Wish I could go again, but I trashed my CA bushings on the CW trip, they are rattling bad. Also my rear shocks are now done from wheelin w/camping gear. Also I need to scoot my rear axle forward cuz my tires are rubbing real bad on the rear rocker. I need to get to workin!

There used to be a water crossing there, but it has been closed for a number of years. I have never seen it open, but the spot that we have found it easiest to cross, is north of where we all camped for A.E.. It is past the downhill that leads you to the river. Glad you found it, but I wonder which part of it you saw. The part I'm talking about would be hard to get to from 204. We will have to go check it out some time. Glad you guys had fun!!

Here's where we came in of course

We hiked past the huge boulders and around the curve, but that's as far as I got. Did't want to take a spill carrying my son on the rocks and I did have a close one.
