Thanks buddy. No, I didn't fix the dent. Couldn't see me dumping money into it when I was planning on selling, unless buyers made a big deal of it. Guy said it was not bad hahaha.. It was a super eye sore for me though.

Other than that, it was a super car.

I have been looking at the newer 530's.. but I can still only afford the RWD, and so I'm also looking at some Audi Quattros. IMO, BMWs are in a different league tho.

Just go back from picking up my daughter from her H.S. She was helping out at a carnival......and her left knee cap dislocated.

Last time this happened the doc showed me what to do.....

She screamed bloody murder when I reset it.....
My heart tore in half.

How did it happen?

 

She was running down the hallway with here friends while cleaning up after the event and POP!!! It's happened before.

It really freaks ya out when her kneecap (patella) is 30-45 degrees off center.

I learned that it's fairly common for this to happen to kids, even into their 20's.

 

that sucks frank. i bet its pretty hard hearing your kids in pain. i could only imagine.......def hope you had another beer!!

 

Oh I most certainly did.

She'll be wearing her long brace (mid thigh to ankle) for 3-5 days and then back to an elastic brace that will hold her kneecap in place.

Was planning Holycross for sundays trip 9/25...but due to late start we opted to play at Wheeler lake which was fun until we ran into 3 groups running as one new fj's and old defenders and then jeeps 20 f-n rigs ,and not one knows up-hill has rite of way ,and then parked clogging trail with 20 rigs ,so by time they got out of the way it was 6:45 ,so we picked up the pace ,and I then hit a rock with sidewall at 20 ...boom...and my spare happens to sitting at home ...I only had 2 shatty plugs/ jb weld ,which worked enough with multiple stops to air up to get off trail and home ...other than that the trail was pretty fun...not holy cross fun ,but fun ...next time I'll never hit a trail without my tools or spare tire...lol

Funny shat is even with no air in tire and tire folded over that 18 wide bogger refused to break a bead on the 10 wide rim ...

 

Used to have that happen to me when I was a kid, so I can relate. Hope she gets to feeling better soon.
