Yeah, no shnit right!! My folks love in Phoenix, and I have been texting back and forth with my Mom throughout this cold spell. She was *****ing about having to wear a jacket to the grocery store.....WHHAAAAAA!!! I was telling her about the -40 wind chill and what not, and she says, "It has gotten down into the 30s!!" Poor baby....I guess I'll be gloating when it's 115 this spring!! LOL!!

Not exactly sure, but I have a couple of options.

1. My bro has a 5spd '99 xj w/RE 3.5, he says he'll trade me for the '98 I just bought because he wants an auto and the roof rack, and the interior on the '98 is in MUCH better shape. Once I get the '98 running good, he wants to drive it around for a week to make sure. If we trade, I'm going to put this axle in there, maybe lock the front, and put some on 33x10.50.

2. If there is no trade, I may just keep the '98 and put this axle in there. It's got a 2" BB so I think I can run 33x10.50 w/bumpstopping, but not sure. If I have to get a whole new lift for the '98, I might just sell it and keep looking for the zj I was planning on..

Nice find. I'm in the middle rebolting axles in place from a gear swap and IT IS TAKING FOREVER

 

It has that hard to start when warm problem, I think it's the coil. I hope it's just the coil. And also a tranny problem. It won't downshift, or shift correctly when you step on it. You have to baby the skinny, or go 1-2, 3. I'm hoping that's just the kickdown cable.. Have not really had the want to work on it yet..

Yeah crawling w/an auto is nicer, but 33s on 4:56 and 5 spd would be NICE!
