I actually replaced all the parts that needed it(radio, door handles, pass. mirror, window cranks, rear latch shocks, tail light, quarter window with flip-out, and a few others). I appreciate the offer though! I still need to replace my blinker/high beams switch if you know anyone who could do that. Also, I've been needing to track down the oil leak(s) and fix those.

Some ****in hippie guy ran a stop sign. both upper control arms are destroyed, both lower axle end mounts are trashed and the passenger side upper mount. header panel is broken, one of my trucklites has a huge gouge in it, and one of my shocks has a bent shaft and is blown. It also spit out the coil spring when the lower broke.

Good, shows him right! Did it do anything to your frame? Good choice on the Miata with summer coming up! Such a fun car to drive!

It doesn't appear to have any chassis damage, just looks like the axle lca and uca mounts and the upper control arms. unfortunately my word isn't enough so the insurance ******s have to send a guy who has never seen my rig in his life to determine what's broken, then hopefully they will cover Fort Collins 4x4 to repair it or cut me a check to buy parts and rebuild it better and stronger.

The very reason I got a grille guard. Mine isn't too strong, but it'll still limit damage to my Jeep if I hit something.

I would love to take a look at your rig . My job all day Is tearing down cars pre repair lol. Looking at this it needs to be put up on a frame rack and measured, in all likely hood if repairs are around 2k it will total. Every xj that comes in that hits te 2k mark gets a VIR (vehicle inspection report) meaning it totals. Get a good body shop and get it measured.

I will call my friend who works at a good local body shop. I got the Miata tonight, and I love it, so at least something went right today. Really hoping it doesn't snow or rain or something soon though, I'm not very good with a clutch and its got pretty bald tires

Who are you on Facebook? Lol I got it back today, started taking it apart. Ripped the header panel off, literally and took the twisted fender off and started straightening it as much as I care to.
Starting to look for axles.
