You might have to make a hole. I was lucky that my xj had a plug right above it. It's going to be where you would rest your feet on the floor

Anyone familiar with the lake como road/blanca peak trail? Buddy of mine and I are coming out from the east coast to climb Blanca and wanted to try to wheeling up to jaws 1 in the Cherokee. 3" on 31s so I doubt I'm making it over, wanted to know would there be room to park up there without being in the way and be able to turn around here.

You wont even make it that far. We ran it last year. Once you pass the sign saying blanca peak and start climbing, there no place to park. Plus with 3" and 31's, you wont make it far my friend. Best to leave it down lower

appreciate it. I'll shoot for the 10k' / 5mi mark, after all I still gotta drive the damn thing home too.

EDIT: Actually I guess I should ask where that sign is? Talking to the folks on the 14ers site it sounds like stock TJs are making it up to about 9700'
again thanks for the help, I hate trying to plan these trips without being able to talk to local people familiar with the area.

The drive home sucks, we left Denver early Sat morning at 8, drove all day, wheeled to the lake camped, then wheeled down and home Sun, talk about a long quick *** trip.

I couldent tell you man, I dont know the feet. I much rather drive it all then walk/hike and watch the mile markers go by lol
