I might be doing a possible trade of my XJ for another XJ.
8 inch long arm lift, 38's, Dana 44 up front and Ford 8.8 in the rear both re-geared to 5.13 with detroit locker. 90k miles on it....
Doesn't seem like a bad deal, still thinking about it. If it gets less than 11 mpg then i dont' think ill do it cuz thats what i get now and I want at least the same haha.

I know which jeep your talking about.....I almost bought it a month ago cuz it was smashed in the front for $1200. I decided not to and it got sold. It just found its way back on CL, fixed....Just thought Id throw it out there.....the entire pass inner fender had to be replaced on it.
And those 38's were bald that were on it......Are you prepared to spend $260+ per tire?
Not against your trade, just want you to know what your getting into......

Hmmm, I thought the regearing would help with the mileage. I was talking to him and he seemed to think there was 40% tread on them. I don't think I want it if it doesn't get at least the same mpg.
It also doesn't have the front bumper but that isnt a big issue.

Also he said he was taking it to the shop to see where the exhaust leak is. Hope it's not in the cat or a header.
