Good luck with that. There a reason why people charge $$$ for gearing. If don't have a locker (lunch box) or recovery yet would say get those first before gearing

 

So I am buying a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE with the 5.7L V8

 

There's a guy behind hi country 4x4 that did gears for about $75 per axle...but you need to pull your axle and bring it minus the jeep .

 

if you guys / gal know anyone looking for a job, my hotel is hiring for front desk right now. both full time positions, one is night audit 5 nights a week, the other will be 3-11 mostly. must be avl to work weekends too. our night audit just put in a week notice yesterday. if anyone interested let me know and will give you address to apply at and who to speak with

 

I dont even do gears, because when you mess gears up, it gets really expensive.

Josh out in parker charges $700 for front and rear gears and install. This is who I usually have do my gears. You can find him on CL if you search ford 8.8 in the auto parts.
