I agree, where do you hear about this stuff? lol... I kinda wish I could have participated. Was too busy blowing my shoulder apart climbing at a comp in Boulder.

well after a few months the jeep is having something going on with it.

i noticed it the other day, when im light on the skinny no noise at all but when i go heavy on the skinny there is a weird clunk noise going on. also when i go really slow while wheeling and put the gas down some the same sound happens. i checked my u joints and they all seem fine. so any ideas what it my be

i was talking with dustin and going to check my motor mounts after work and also the u joints

Hmm I was gonna suggest maybe worn r&p or a worn gear in the tranny or tc but that would be more of a one time clunk. This is probly a long shot but check your u bolts. When I got my XJ they were so loose you could wiggle them by hand and when I hit the brakes real hard it made a horrible popping. Like I said, long shot but worth a look.
