Yeah, I think that you'd dig it!! We are trying to get a little run of a group of CFers to China Wall, you check it out on TrailDamage.com in the CO trails section. It is a cool little trail that my friends and I are VERY experienced in running. I know there is a guy that wants to come down from Wheat Ridge, so if you're interested, you're more than welcome to come on down. This would give you a little taste of what rockcrawling is about. No worries about breakage, really, stock Jeeps can make it all of the way through the trail, but there are some obstacles that you can definately check your rig out on, with bypasses if you can't clean it! Let me know and I can tell you when we get a "hard" date set, later!!

"With a good spotter you can do Holy Cross on 33's, FC is the most difficult obstacle besides Cleveland Rock and it is past Holy Cross city so you don't even have to do it. I did it last year, excluding Cleveland Rock and I don't have any lockers. I contribute it to my spotter and the flex of my y-link. You will hear alot of people tell you that there is no way you can do it but it really depends on the driver and spotter. You will need rocker and skid protection, some diff. protection is not a bad idea either.
When we came back through FC there were a ton of rigs struggling to get through, and they were better equipped than me. But they were taking the hardest lines they could and their spotters sucked. "
Just my .02[/quote] Don't know why this didn't box in, sorry Cherokee4x4!
Just lurking as I was born in Durango and family is still there. Did you guys see the show on Outdoor channel about the fullsize chevys on Holy Cross this week. They were saying the exact opposite of this. I can't wait to try it for myself in the future. It lingers up there challenging, laughing and mocking me!!!!!!

Welcome, glad you checked in. Us Rocky Mountaineers need to stick together. We have quite a few of us on here, and it seems to be catching on a bit!! I'd like to get a run together at some point, maybe this summer, but I think you may have to pull me out!! I really dig your XJ, that's a very impressive list of goodies you have there!! KUDOS!!
