I would love to join you but am currently running unlocked and Saturday is my general maintenance day. I have some small issues that need to be addressed on my rig and hope to be ready by Sunday if anyone wants to run.

Sure you can join, Arvada is kind of a nice place. Here are few links to some nice casual trails.

Cheyenne, WY here!
With a good spotter you can do Holy Cross on 33's, FC is the most difficult obstacle besides Cleveland Rock and it is past Holy Cross city so you don't even have to do it. I did it last year, excluding Cleveland Rock and I don't have any lockers. I contribute it to my spotter and the flex of my y-link. You will hear alot of people tell you that there is no way you can do it but it really depends on the driver and spotter. You will need rocker and skid protection, some diff. protection is not a bad idea either.
When we came back through FC there were a ton of rigs struggling to get through, and they were better equipped than me. But they were taking the hardest lines they could and their spotters sucked.
Just my .02

Howdy Cheyenne,
Thanks for the info. I have never run the area but plan to the 15th to the 17th. I will be camping along Homestake creek and bouncing up and down the hill during the day. Come on down.

If there is, it would be a local thing. I have not heard of any state wide fire bans, and we have been getting a lot of MUCH NEEDED rain lately, so it should be good!!

So I take it you're not enjoying your stay in CO?? I'm originally from OK, but moved here in 1995 and will never move back to OK!! It's too f-ing hot and no real mountains to speak of. I got into all of the hobbies that I love out here, and most of them are more enjoyable in the mountains, ie.. snowboarding, rock crawling, camping, etc. Give CO a chance, I think that you may find yourself liking it before too long, later!!
