Thanks Dj, I'm lacking the lockers but have the proper rubber and not really interested in beating up my Jeep, yet. I'd love to figure out a way to come along though. As for brake lines, I'll have to do some reading. I'm all for going the cheaper route if it'll work without issue, I just wanna be able to fully flex my suspension (5.5" + 1.5" shackles) without worrying about something getting tugged on... or binding.

fyi, they are 4.5 inch leafs with 1 inch shackles=5.5 inch re lift.....shackles come with the lift.

and the brake lines that alex(dj) is reffering too will work just fine.

some people would rather run rubber brake lines because steel braided can crimp.

some people would rather run steel braided cuz they dont expand when the brakes are applied like rubber ones.

i run steel braided and make sure the cant get pinched anywhere.

back on topic...............so aug 19-21 is the dates!!! looks like i have some fab work to do in the next few weeks.

my spider gears are gonna be screaming for mercy next weekend when im burning them into my carrier!!

bishop, you can run cmg for sure in an unlocked xj. they are pretty amazing. hc on the otherhand, i am a little scared to hit in my clean jeep, bug its only a jeep!! i know myself and a few others that are going could def spot you thru cmg.

i agree pitbull, BACON!!!!

These dates seem pretty good.

The 1st rule on The Bacon Express is you don't talk about The Bacon Express....

Cool thing is that if we run HC first, it would be during the week, and should cut down on the traffic on the trail!!

I'm down to burn a Friday's worth of PTO for this!! If we can get there early enough, we might be able to run HC on Friday....food for thought.
