Most of the guys on Fri, so far Bishop and I on Sat morning.. Planning on meeting off I-70 & morrison exit at 7 am sharp.

Although, I just double checked time to trail head and it's saying over 3 hours, so might have to meet at 6 am vs 7..

Bishop, I had seen it was almost 4 hours to get to the trailhead, so that's why I suggested 6. I told Seth, we would get there about 9:30-10, so that's why I wanted to leave at 7 at the latest.. Vail pass is a beeeyatch!! I was dropping down to 2nd gear in my old xj.. We will be chugging up there, and besides, don't want to be going too fast in lifted jeeps. So if we leave close to 7 AM that is best. Seth said should take us around 2:30-3 hours to get there..

I'm guessing we want to hit the trail around 10:30 - 11? From looking at other sites, HC is going to be very busy tomorrow..

Lets stick to original plan of meeting at the morrison exit at 7 am. If Grolla goes, will be closer for him to meet up there too.

Well...that didn't take long. Only about 8 miles west of 6th ave and I-70 and here I sit on the side of the road with what appears to be a blown engine. You boys have a good time...take lots of pics so I can dwell over them this winter. I got a tow coming for me. Cyas!

Damn dude that blows! I punched a huge hole in my old BMW's oil pan near there, on 6 just before getting on 70, coasted into the bar there and killed the motor and waited....

Next time for sure! Sucks man

I'm packed, gonna go to bed shortly... I'll text you in the AM Alex, and Taylor I'll PM you my number too. Hoping I won't be late!

that sucks about your engine!...it does have some miles though. 220k when i sold it to ya?

i have an extra engine with 100k miles i would sell for $300 if your interested....comes with all accessories except starter and alternator. also will throw in a set of M.O.O.R.E. bomb proof motor mounts.

i can prob get it running in about 30 mins for you to hear it run...its still in that jeep in my garage. (its a 92, but its the same)

let me know if your interested bro...if not, i will keep it around for a spare. im rockin 196k miles on my jeep.

Crap !!! I got home after work at 0430 put on my new much much longer brake lines then found the fittings loose on them so they sucked air ,which I thought I'd get away without bleeding them the way i sntalled them ,but that cancelled that idea , So I head into the garage to grab the bleeded only to find my dip-shyt bro has broken it and not replaced it or mentioned it ,so i'm running behind since i need this done b4 i roll today ...they work but soft ...was debating on rolling carefull;y and stopping in at checkers and doing it quick in their lot ,but it would suck to roll it on highway for lack of brakes...Would do it old fashioned way but very had as 1 person job...
