Looks good, maybe run a bar diagonally on the rear windows. Just a thought.

no. didnt on my last exoed xj, and never broke out a window. i dont like tube over glass. makes it hard to replace(the glass).

it will have a windshield spreader bar, but thats more for safety than protection of my ws.

i initially had a bar going accross those windows. i just really didnt like how it looked. it started to look like a jungle gym!!

here is a rough idea of the rear bumper and tire carrier. looks like a swing down, but will be a swing out. hinges will come off of the cage.

Do what you like ,as you can always cut it off and change it later.

I'll be picking one up next week ...unless I buy an Atlas first ,But it don't matter I'm running Holy cross the 25th as last trip of the year ,so as long as I do it by next spring for Carnage/Indi I'm good...maybe next summer run Boulder Canyon if I get my WB to around 115 and run 42-44's

Maybe a 2 in 5.0 ...But then again I might want the gearing options of the Atlas -4 with 2.0 2.72 and 5.44 since v-8 power is a ways away...if ever ,But with 40-44 rubber the 5.0 will probably be fine .

i will be going with the 5.0 myself....but i only plan on running 37-38's on this hp d44. i figure with some 35 spline rcv shafts, and keep my pinion gear bigger with not as deep of gear set (4.56), my 44 should hang with 38s for a while. i also plan on keeping my trusty 4.0L in this thing for good.

after last weekend, and seeing my bros explorer with an atlas 2 (4.3) and 4.56 gears, i think its a pretty well rounded setup.

thats the plan. as long as work is steady, it should happen over the winter. i kinda regret getting rid of my last two hp d60's, but i figure i will just polish my 44 and call it good. im just glad i kept em full width. Atlas wont be for a while.
