I go fishing down there quite often. One time I found a guy in a full size Bronco buried up to his rockers in the mud at the north end of the resevoir when the water was low.As I was trying to (unsuccessfully) winch him out the ranger came by and gave him a ticket for being where he wasn't supposed to be.There really isn't anywhere to legally wheel down there.Other than the obvious designated roads around the resevoir everything else is considered off-trail and can get you into trouble with the law.

Why in the world would you drive your rig into a lake?

Besides being clearly off trail you do no one any good by giving the tree-huggers more ammo to close our trails.

Stay on the trail.
