Default 33 BF Goodrich MT's to AT's

Just bought some WP ski passes for this season and my XJ was nominated to get us back and forth. I have some BF Goodrich MT's that I put on in July and I wish I had gone with the All Terrains instead. Anyone local want to trade? Five 33x12.50x15's- the spare is new and the other four can't have more than 1000 miles on them. I'm looking for 5 BF Goodrich All Terrains T/A KO's in the same size and close to the same amount of tread left. Hope to get them on soon so if no one is interested by the weekend I'll probably throw them on Craigslist.

I had a set on my truck. I had them siped and then they were decent on snow and ice. Just thought I'd toss out another idea for you.

That's a thought- how much did it cost to have done? I've heard that causes the tire to wear faster as well...

It was 15 dollars a tire and the next set I bought (Toyo MT's) I had siped when I purchased them. I've heard that it causes the tires to wear faster and have also heard and read that it extends tire life. Both vehicles were used on wet, icy and snowy roads with little to no actual offroad use -not a mall crawler just practical transportation.

I think Discount tire offers this service still. I know they used to.

I think it extends the life. If you have the KM2s, it may help a little. They are already a great tire IMO. If you have the KM1s, it will help A TON.

For the cost of re-mounting and balancing, it's defintely worth a look.

they still offer that service. only issue is the tire gets turned into a directional tire when discount does it. last I checked is was about 12 bucks a tire

the bfg at is a great all around tire still after all these years.
