No need to start early as Slick Rock is a short trail so we might run it both ways just for fun and if there is time.
Off the trail, if we run it up and back, by 6pm means we should start about 10 or 11 Saturday morning.
Sunday there is no need to dilly dally in the morning so pack-up and go as quickly as we can.
Deer Valley takes 4 hours to run and we still have a 4 hour drive home.

Sweet... I'm about 75% positive that I'm gonna go with you guys. I hope I can find time to change my rear main seal. Leaving oil on the rocks is not cool. Also might need to pick up a CB so I can chat with you.

alright, well if you guys leave camp at 11 AM saturday Ill run both way with you. I will arrive at like 10:50 (10:59) AM and just run the trail with all my gear on board, shouldnt be any sort of a problem for my rig. I want to run it both ways, but leaving home at 7:00 on a saturday just isnt going to happen. Let me know if 11:00 start works for you.
Also, are you guys planning to tent camp? I am wondering if we should try to pool food supplies a little bit for that night to make the logistics easier.
Last and probably least, a TJ on 33s may or may not be coming with us, nothing that will hold us back or make us feel held back (my jeep>the TJ in trail ability), 4 rigs would be a good turn out

Here is a site that lets you know weather conditions etc. at Lake Alpine. http://www.lakealpine.com/
It say that the campgrounds will close in October. The site says 'will try to find out the exact date on Monday' so we should check then to make sure the campgrounds are still open.

I would guess they will still be open. Typically they dont close until the first snow or significant freezing, though I guess they can close it whenever they want

Has anyone check You Tube for videos of Deer Valley yet? Coming out of Hermit Camp grounds looks tough although the trail does calm down a little after that.
