and by 'safe' i mean, the way its laid out, clearly marked trails according to the level of difficulty as well as the fact you can get recovery service to go there fairly easily. good luck getting someone to travel out to the Ventana wilderness to pull you out...Jes sayin...but, Hollister absolutely has its strong points too. clearly marked trails according to the level of difficulty as well as the fact you can get recovery service to go there fairly easily....lmao...

its not the clearly marked trails at hollister that are any fun, its the trails that are unmarked. The only marked trail thats difficult is Tank trap and its only marked because everyone and their brothers knows it.

Im not trying to break my junk, im just lookin to have a challenge while im out wheeling.

I mostly need to go there with people who know the unmarked trails. I ran last time and did all the marked and a couple unmarked like white rock, not sure if truck hill is marked but did that too. Otherwise I just got acquainted with the area and hung out at the obstacle course

I did get pictures, but not many because I was having more fun out on the trails behind the wheel. It's time to invest in diff skids, I keep hitting them on rocks. The weather was perfect, and since I went alone I was able to explore more deeply on unmapped trails.

Just had surgery today so I'll be out of commission for wheeling for a couple of weeks.

What happened? That seemed pretty out of the blue. Was it a surprise surgery or expected?

I had a large mass growing on the inside of my leg. It was so painful and large that I couldn't walk, I couldn't get into my xj either. It was a semi planned surgery lol. I'm pretty good now, just can't handle the bumps from wheeling right now.
