battery cables and ignition switch should be here today, hoping to be registered and on the road by the weekend.

well, replaced the ignition switch with a new one from rock auto. almost broke the old one, since i removed the wrong secure torx and thought it was stuck.

once i figured out my issue, i got the new one swapped in. connected battery. same no start problem.

interior lights power on, stereo, chimes, etc. turn the key to start, nothing.

gave it some time and came back and it fired right up, turned it on and off a few times and didn't have any other issues.

makes me think about a wiring problem, but maybe there's something else i'm overlooking?

 

No starter engagement either says the starter is getting no power, not enough starting amps, bad starter

 

what's weird is that is all or nothing. either it doesn't even try or it fires right up. that makes me think its a bad connection.

Yea. Probably a bad power or ground
