yea it would start but not stay running ....see what happened was if you look at the picture the tree right behind the jeep the one touching the water right behind that is a legit boxed in camping area you just had to hug that tree in order to get there unless you had decent enough lift then who cares but clearly he didn't stay close enough to the tree and it just picked it up and started floating away lol then it filled with water and sunk where the picture was taken lol .....goodtimes so tommy had to tow him back with the jk

Performance wise, my butt dyno says more power... And the throttle response is definitely crisper.
It looks hella coo... And it raises your intake like a snorkel does without the 8 foot long intake hose and subsequent losses in power and throttle response.
Over all I would recommend it to anyone that's thinking of buying it.
