Anyone have the star adjustment lever cables they don't need since I know some of you moved up to disc brakes. My cables are too long and are grinding on the brake drum. I think autozone gave me ones that were a bit too long.

Are you sure the cable guide is completely flush cause I thought that at first until I realized it wasn't flush.

Default Radiator recommendations?

Yesterday we drove from Beatty, through Leadfield and Titus Canyon to Death Valley (4+ hr, 85*+, 20mph) without a problem. Temp gauge was normal. While driving up the long grade out of DV our XJ overheated (check gauges light came on). Two stops on the side of the road to cool it down got us out of DV and onto flat ground. The drive back to Vegas was uneventful. Since that's one system I haven't touched I'm planning to replace it all (hoses/pump/tstat/etc). While I do more research I thought I'd ask for radiator recommendations? What have you had success with or what didn't work? This is a DD and weekend trail rig. No hauling or rock crawling. Thanks

Don't get the champion aluminum.

I'm running a CSF 3 core right now. I ran one in my previous jeep as we'll. no drama

That's the direction I'm leaning. Thanks.

With the Champion Aluminum it's pretty much the luck of the draw. Some people no issues. Some people get the radiator and there is no mounting tabs and the fill cap is too close to the radiator. Making it difficult to remove the cap when it's in your rig.

I had 2 fail on me within 90 days. They started leaking where the fins meet the end tank. I didn't have the issue with the filler cap. I did have an issue with the filler cap being WAY to hard to put on.

Thanks for your input Jared. I ordered a CSF 2671 yesterday. Amazon said to expect it in 10 days. (I think it's being hand delivered from the East coast.)

I know this is a bit late, but should have ordered through JC Whitney. $200 shipped.
