did some good work today.
8.25 out

8.8 w/ 4.10s, lsd, and disk brakes in.
" i had a picture but it wont load. "
all in all it was a pain in the ***. but 4.10s were worth it.
couldnt get the brakes to work correctly. so i had about an 8 mile drive back to base with out brakes. worked out perfectly. i love standard trannys..

North Las Vegas near Lone Mountain and Clayton. I only work on it a couple hours at night after work during the weekday. The past few weekends have been busy so I haven't really worked on it a whole lot.
Ordered from Discount. They had the tires in stock and a promo for $100 rebate.
I've been bugging them for a while on wheels and tires and they finally gave me the deal. I could have bought the Jegs wheels for the same price so he just matched the price. I couldn't pass up the price on BFG ATs with warranty, mount and balance.

well Finally lifted the rear to match the front. just a $40 set of ebay shackles. all four bolts came out easy as could be with no soaking just lots of heat. took about an hour from taking off the bumper to putting the bumper back on.
Lots of heat

Gotta love Cherokees and their angles. maybe down the road itll get shackle relocators

the shackles kinda set me up for a SYE tho I doubt ill need it angles are actually way better, and the yoke is seated farther in than without the shackles

and a crappy after pic

But I noticed last night that I need to replace the shaft that goes from the steering column to the steering box. the rubber has finally died. seriously contemplating just welding it up tho. we will see.
That 8.25, Is it 27 or 29 spline?
Lots of heat

dood first off the jeep looks great leveld out. and the rock rails looks *****en on your 2 door. I miss mine

The steering link is called the "intermediate shaft" and its like 100 new (try the junk yard) My buddy anthony had bought one, I'll see about his old one.
I slammed the driver side rail pretty good the other day out at apex, the rock was soft tho so it didn't gouge it up too much
Ill Probably just pull my shaft out and weld it up, the tig should be getting here next week.
