Got my Brown Dog motor mounts today...

 

Lemme know how they are to install. I hate installing aftermarket mounts, they never line up right. Main reason I havnt replaced my mounts yet!?

 

Ok so I am have a DOH!!! Moment. I have done all the assembly and even got the engine to start and run for a bit...but now it wont restart. I try and jump it and it will crank but no start. Then after reading...I realized that the battery in the damn thing is not just a little dead but completely dead..as in never to work again. One of the voices in my head remembers something about the ECM and the sensors needing a certain amount of voltage for them to work properly. Hmm another voice in my head said that 16g jumper cables are not going to provide enough voltage for anything. Funny...every once in a while the voices in my head can be intelligent. I should just listen more often. This weekend...BATTERY!!!

Next week I will be putting some new 32" tires on the rig, but I want to find a used spare if anyone knows of a good place to look...?

 

Craigslist has some good deals on tires. Just gotta be patient and keep a look out
