Well, I know it's not because of the higher output, the hose size is the same as the wj v8. My pump is not putting as much through as the wj, just more than stock xj pump. More restriction will cause pressure build up, the first hose that went out was factory stock from 1995, it was old. This hose only had one crimp section holding it into the casing instead of two And that's where the leak is coming from.

I'm gonna brush this one off as defect in hose, and will let ya know how it is once I get to Alaska.

 

Thought it was Alaska? Before you move out why not hit up house of hose and have some custom hoses made?

Missed out on last nights run! Sad thing is, I was down the street at the in-laws off DI and Hollywood too. I wanted to bring the Jeep to their house too, but was pressured not to.

Hopefully the next run won't be late so my daughter can go. She keeps bugging me to go on a trail run.
