Ok so this lift install has become the biggest pain in the ***! I swear she's fighting me every step of the way. All of my rear leaf spring bolts and shackle bolts were seized into the bushing so everything needed to be cut out. I purchased new hardware from McFaddendales and am trying to test fit the bolts into the frame but found out ALL weld nuts are stripped so I can't even get the bolts in. Anybody have this problem and have any ideas? I've done a search of the forum and have picked up some good tips, but most involve welding which I do not have experience with.

Well the rear is easy shackle relocation kit... Fronts not so much... All I can think of would be to weld new nuts like you said, but trying to get to the old nuts to remove seems like it'd be a P.I.T.A .

Junkyard for OE bolts. Only need a couple. Those will rethread the old nuts enough to get the new ones started. I had to use my old ones to clean the threads. Spray lubricant on the bolts and clean them, then apply anti seize to the new ones and install.

I went to pick a part this morning and managed to grab one but that was a PITA to obtain just to make sure I had the right size bolt from McFaddens. Tried to thread it in but no luck either. I have to head to work, but I'll try tomorrow since its my day off. I got that cheap 90 amp welder from HF...heard it'll do the job as far as welding in new nuts goes just in case I need to do PLAN B....which is to go into beast mode and just start cutting and hacking stuff again then welding a nut in there....
