Freeze plugs are easy. Just tap a side in to pop out the opposing side and order new from dealer. Working at Pepboys they don't have specific vehicle freeze plugs, so to ensure you get the CORRECT size, go dealer. Just hammer the new one in evenly. Simple

The freeze plugs themselves are easy to replace. Just getting to them sometimes is a biatch. All just depends which one is leaking, if its one you can't get to it is possible u may have pull engine &/or drop tranny.

I highly doubt you'd have to go as far as removing the engine/trans...worst case probably unbolt motor mounts and lift/lower engine as needed.

I meant that past tense. I worked at charleston and Decatur, got some ASE certifications and left...horrible pay, under staffed, unqualified service writers and just overall a jank place.

I got what I wanted though!

I hear u... Worked at lake mead and tenaya for a year, and I fully agree. Well except for being understaffed. I was lucky to have a bay somedays when I came in at 8-9 instead of opening. Right now I'm enjoying watching other people work and I get to look at cars all day
