Hello from So Cali!
Hay new to the cherokee wheeling, but not that new to wheeling.
So i am a long time cherokee fan, finally got me one.
I picked it up so i stop taking my dakota on trails and beating it up.
I live up in Victorville and have been though the big bear area, arrowhead, silverwood, calico areas. Fun stuff! now that i have the cherokee build in process its going to get better once its done!
So looking to get to know more So Cali people that maybe when people are going out wheeling i have people i can go with.
Here is my current process on the cherokee....
Picked her up for 400 bucks, Runs great! 88 4.0 4x4. Currently working on basic tune up items, (i.e fluid changes, plug, plug wires etc) basic service. Once that is done ima move to the lift and tires! But while i do the tune up, im also doing other minor stuff to it. Need to get a new CAT and exaust put on so i can smog it and drive it...
I have taken the headliner out, going to trim the fenders when i find the area i want to take them too. Also have taken the interior out, im going to hyuclainer the floor board. I mean who needs a Carpet kit?!! Only issue i ran into was the cancer under the rear seat... rust spot that has eatin the floor board, gave me a window to the ground below the jeep... LOL so i will need to fix that first before the liner goes in. So anyone if they can help me out with this fix on welding in a new peice, i will love you long time! cause i dont know how to weld nor own a welder.
Other then that its the only "set back" i have had so far. here is some pictures of it.

From what i see, everyother post on NAXJA is a bad one. No help.
I'm in San berdoo... Someone hit me up to wheel, chill.....mod the rigs.
I got a huge driveway and a bigger patio with access for a few jeeps to work, limited tools, excessive knowledge, a suv jack, and a wild hair to lift lock & mod rides.
