Any action shots at azusa. Is that where allot of people go to play in a mud puddle? I will google it now.

It used to be. I was there 5 years ago it was alot of mud and fun and I just came back few weeks ago now less mud and the play area is smaller since too much water. I am not sure how is the water level now.

Falk,
Maybe better luck next time on the buck...The next weekend I will joining a few of my fellow prospector and going out to Barstow to look for gold where we now have three claims......I work most saturdays but open on sundays..going up to the E. Fork sounds good to me and will let you know when I can go...

Didn't find very much gold,only 5 or 6 small pieces.I have 3 buckets of dirt to pan out . Had a great time and did some 4 wheeling too !!
How did your hunting go?

Hi Tim,
sorry to hear that, but glad you had fun. Still no Buck yet, didn't see anything moving through Frazier Mountain. Season goes until Nov.6th.

Thursday morning I drove up to east fork Azuza Canyon. The top parking lot was already full with a lot of people with Backpacks and gold pans strapped on, moving towards the upper part of the creek. Just stopped by there since I had some time to kill before a meeting. I can just imagine how busy it is there during the weekend.Lol.

When we go up there,we usually get there about 5 in the morning...And there will still only be a few parking spaces open...
