hey is there anyone near mountain view that could help me figure out what is going on with my xj it is making weird noises well accelerating. ive got the 4.0l tick but its louder then that when i hit the gas and its really worrying me and i cant afford a new vehicle.

 

i assume you checked the oil? After it had sat for a while?

 

Ya I checked it changed it put Lucas in it and it's still making loud noises

Anyone have, or know who has a red XJ, late model, with a pretty big lift and 35s or 37in tires? It had an aftermarket exhaust and I want to say it had cut fenders. I know it had an 8.25 rear end. I saw it driving down the street and we waved and acknowledged each other. It was a "cherokee guy to cherokee guy" moment lol. I was just wondering if he was on here. It was in south San Jose.
