im looking to get a good day of wheelin in on monday. was going to hit up wildomar but apparently it is closed due to fire damage. anyonw know of somewhere local or not to far out of south orange county to get some jeepin done? if you do please please please let me know. and if you want to go too. awsome!!!

just to let you know theres a run going up pilot rock and another trail in lake arrowhead on the 18th if you feel like drivin up there

 

id like to but my work schedule is kinda crazy. to when i have the time its kinda short notice. and usually only mondays and tuesdays.

 

what good trails do you have near you? i work for myself so i can take a monday to go wheelin some time soon

 

pretty much just wildomar that i know of. off ortega hwy. but they are ***** about closing it down for weather. im willing to drive about 2 hours for a good days woth of wheelin. im in laguna niguel. about 4 -6 hours if theres some good camping to be had as well.

 

big bear/arrowhead has a weekends worth of wheeling and camping up there
trails all over near me, then if you drop off the far side of the mountain you run into jonson valley....

 

Looks like we're gonna be going up to Big Bear on Monday. Any tips?

 

theres going to be a few other people up there as the trails are busy on holidays. dishpan is fun but short, johnbull is supposed to be the hardest. we usually cruise up gold mountain as a good starter trail.
