I've been to Tahuya a few times. The whole trail system is pretty much a yawner except Mud Lake and the couple of knarley hill climb trails that the locals have built. It's a little more fun in the winter when it's wet but there is LOTS of sandy water. Not good on joints and such. I can go sometime. it just costs me a small fortune to ride the ferry across and not really worth it to me when there are a couple of really good wheeling places without having to do a ferry ride.

tahuya is like driving down a paved road with gravel on it and some times you might hit a pot hole with water in it....That's just my 2 cents....You really don't need a 4x4 out there....except those few hills and the big water hole...
