I was just wondering what everyone first started getting
into off roading with and if you have upgraded at all.

I started with an 89 Isuzu trooper I bought for
$350 with no heat no interior.

It was a little 2.6 4 cylinder and 5-speed manual.

My first off road toy was a 91 ford ranger. It was a 2wd, but had a lsd, and some super swampers on it. It wasn't to bad for simple trails.

'74 K5 Blazer with 14in lift and 44" swampers. It was ok in the lighter mud, had D44 and 12 bolt axles, haha. I tried rock crawling, ya the axles lasted a whole 2 minutes.
