Got this hatch carnage while wheeling Saturday at Walker Valley. Removed my hatch last night. Getting the reson hardener and fiberglass sheets tonight, so my son and I can hopefully repair my hatch rather than having to replace it.

tested the wheel travel on the rear wheels...
upgrade to longer travel shocks
gained 5" down travel and lost nothing on up travel now nearly maxing out a 28" long shock in the rear
made sure I would not over compress the cv shaft in the rear (it is close... but still good to go)
started converting over to a home made double shear track bar and bracket... also clearancing the axle side TB bracket...
I have been busy...

beefed up and clearanced the axle side track bar mount... finished and installed my double shear track bar mount (to go with my double shear track bar I made a few days ago)... tested it out on a little hill that the owner claimed I would not be able to make it up without a locker... well I made it up and barely got on the gas...

Just picked up my high pinion for my 2000 XJ. Time to replace the lame LP with bent brackets with this baby! Gonna clean it up, re-gear, truss, and relocate the LCA mounts. It's a 90, so I'm also going to throw in my axle shafts from the 00 Dana 30 to replace the 260 u joints that are in the HP.... So much fun!

Ripped off rear driver hard brake line out wheeling. Not impressed. Only few miles from home thankfully. Replaced with some copper hose from home. Good as new
