installed this $8 miracle.. had a bad dead spot in my steering thanks to tie rod roll, so I ordered one of jcr's tie rod bushings. install was super easy too.. drop tie rod end from driver's knuckle, cut off rubber boot, put bushing in it's place, reattach to knuckle. no more roll, so no more dead spot. sweet bonus, it seems to have solved me recent high speed wobbles. must have been that play in the tie rod that was causing it. very happy camper today!

also cleared out my rear storage setup so I can clean it up and get it sold. time to get going on v2.0

Changed my oil... And went to the junk yard
scored some 703 injectors!!! Grabbed 7 incase one was bad, and while looking for some calipers and lines for my rear disc swap I found a grand cherokee with what appeared to be a freshly rebuilt dana 35. Had brand new brakes, shafts etc. so I snagged the new calipers (which had brand new pads!!!) and lines. I think I'm gonna go back this weekend and pull the backing plates and all since everything is new and just use it (with some new rotors) and sell the backing plates I have now.
There was also a wj, which I have never seen at this pick and pull, and of course the whole front axle was already gone...

Question for you guys who have dabbled in t-case's, I have my 88 With the 242 in it, and I need to swap the tranny with my parts 88. I was gonna just swap both in one go, but I just checked and it has the 231. In your guys' eyes which is better? 231 v. 242 (I have looked into it a bit) Mainly just for the fact of the tranny swap, Just not sure if I should keep my 242 under there.
